This page is dedicated to all the rules of good behavior that must be kept in an alpine refuge.
If you are a novice hiker, don't worry, these tips are right for you!
If, on the other hand, you are a frequent visitor to refuges, don't worry, a review is always good!
So ... what do I put in my backpack for trekking?
The indispensable for a good summer walker are definitely:
- a map of the place (better not to get lost in the mountains)
- a shirt and exchange socks
- a protective shell (at high altitudes you never know what the weather holds, rain and wind are always around the corner!)
- water (never forget it!)
What do I need to sleep at the refuge?
The sleeping bag is essential!
Possibly buy one in cotton, so that you don't have to throw it away after use, you can use it in future hikes.
If you do not have one, you can still buy one at the Hut.
At the refuge there are also hot showers, so if you want to wash take the bare minimum.
Often you will have to sleep in dormitories with other people, if you are a light sleeper remember the caps.
Last but not least rule ... BRING THE WASTE HOME!
