The Hut
Standing at 2,480 metres above sea level, Ospizio Sottile Hut is located at Colle Valdobbia, in the surroundings of Mount Rosa, on a pass connecting two beautiful valleys, Valsesia and Gressoney valley and two unique regions, Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta.

A challenging trek, a magnificent panorama on a high mountain athmosphere and a great meal in a shelter is what you need for a memorable holiday. Sottile Hut is a must-see destination for mountain lovers.

Ospizio Sottile Hut is open in summer from 2nd June to 1st September.

The hut is a 3-storey building. On the first floor, a wooden bar and cozy dining rooms are always ready to accommodate you after your trek. You can enjoy a great meal tasting products of the valley, including homemade bread, pasta, polenta, pies, all accompanied by natural wines, craft beers and local liqueurs.
You can experience an overnight stay at Ospizio Sottile Hut in one of the refined bedrooms or in the dormitories, furnitured with bunk beds and warm blankets.
You will wake up and smell the coffee and the cake baking in the oven.
